Converge is part of a student group called Chi Alpha Christian fellowship http://www.chialphapeoria.com which is a nation wide Christian organization that provides a place for students to meet other Christian students and to grow in their faith. Chi Alpha provides a safe place for non Christian students to get their questions answered and to seek Jesus. Chi Alpha’s goal is to “Reconcile students to Christ, transforming the University, the Marketplace and the World.”

As a part of Chi Alpha, we seek to introduce fellow collegians to an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ. We plan to do this through...

• Prayer… Communicating with Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith
• Worship...Expressions of thanks through word, music, and service  
• Fellowship... Having fun and building relationships with other people
• Discipleship...Learning about Jesus and following His example
• Mission... Living a life that reflects our relationship with God in what we say and do.

Chi Alpha is associated with the Assemblies of God church, which is a worldwide denomination focused on reaching the entire world with the Gospel of Christ
